Jesus. I was thinking the BOE would never cut more than 0.5% and they gazump me by a whole 1.0%. 1.5%, now that is huge. I hope even banks who said they wouldn't pass on benefits and going to take heed on this.

Amazing, yet also worrying because that really does sum up how much sh1t we are in.
